Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/8 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon anchovies or paste optional
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon water

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Whisk together until well combined. Taste and add additional salt and pepper, if necessary.

Notes

  • You can use anchovy filets or anchovy paste, or just leave it out if you don't like it.
  • This makes a very thick sauce, which is what you need to coat the lettuce. You don't want to water it down.
